Senshi and Myka . . .

They are Japanese Akita's. Descendents of a long line of canines thought to have originated in the Akita Prefecture of Japan. 

They are among the most ancient breeds and can be traced back to the Edo Period (1615 – 1867).

They are renowned for their loyalty, intelligence and protective nature. 

As you can see, they have a formidable presence, as they come from a long line of bear hunters, yes, bear hunters. 

Consequently, they have no patience for the faint of heart, uncommitted or uninformed. Hence, they are the embodiment of the phrase : "Be Relentless. . ."
